'Martin Luther King Jr.'s Unfinished Work on Earth Must Truly Be Our Own'

Image above: King’s casket is carried into a funeral home in Atlanta the day after his death.Benjamin Mays was the president of Morehouse College, in Atlanta, while Martin Luther King Jr. was a student there, and the two became friends. We hope that this universal concern will bring comfort to the family—for grief is like a heavy load: when shared it is easier to bear. We come today to help the family carry the load.We have assembled here from every section of this great nation and from o... (The Atlantic)
